About Us

We are a semi-rural Practice working from 2 sites with a patient list size of approximately 10,200.

The main Surgery, Canolfan Iechyd Amlwch, is situated in the town of Amlwch and the branch Surgery, Meddygfa Cemaes, is in the village of Cemaes Bay - approximately 5 miles apart.

We are not a dispensing Practice but there are Pharmacies in the area of both Surgeries.

We are a group Practice but patients do have the option to see the Doctor of their choice.

We are a training Practice for senior medical students.  Nursing students and Health Visitor students are also often attached to the Practice.  They are always closely supervised and will be clearly identified to you as students.  You have the right to decline to be treated in the presence of a student.  

The Practice is committed to improving medical education at all levels.  All members of the Practice have ongoing training and attend courses and lectures.
